Please join Councilmember Tommy Wells and your neighbors on Saturday, June 25, 2011 for the 5th Annual Ward 6 Family Day that will be held at the Yards Park from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

There will be free food, live music and dancing, as well as zumba and salsa sessions, face painting, boat crafts and a Moon Bounce. There will be information on programs at the DC Library as well as a Diaper Drive hosted by the DC Diaper Bank for needy families in our area. There will be door prizes featuring gift certificates from local businesses and sporting memorabilia from the Wizards, DC United and Washington Nationals! The beautiful Yards Park is conveniently and centrally located at Water St., SE between 3rd and 4th Streets, SE and one block south of M Street, SE. It's easily accessible with direct connection to Metro's Green line at Navy Yard station and the Circulator bus linking to Union Station.
