Break out the bunting and sparklers!

Join Tommy and all your neighbors for the 6th Annual Fourth of July Parade on Capitol Hill. The parade kicks off at 10 am. The route of the parade begins at Eighth and I streets SE, at the underpass, and heads north on Eighth to D Street, then west on D to Seventh Street and north again past Pennsylvania Avenue through Eastern Market to North Carolina Avenue.

After the parade, stick around for a Family Picnic on the Hine Jr. High parking lot to benefit the Capitol Hill Cluster Schools. The Naval Lodge on Capitol Hill in conjunction with Tiber Creek Associates of Capitol Hill is sponsoring the picnic and it begins as soon as the parade is over and runs until 4 pm.
