Voting rights activists across the District are gearing up for a major march on the Capitol on Monday, April 16th, at 2:30 pm. The Voting Rights March will begin at Freedom Plaza (immediately in front of the Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Ave, NW) and end at the steps of the Capitol.

“I can’t imagine a more powerful message than thousands of DC residents marching from what is their Capitol building, to the U.S. Capitol building, to demand a voice on the floor of Congress,” remarked Tommy Wells.
