A notice just recieved by the National Park Service impacting Stanton Park this Saturday, May 3rd. Please see the notice below:

This serves as notice that the southwest corner of Stanton Park will be permitted to the Avon Products Foundation, Inc. for the subject event on this coming Saturday, May 3, 2008. The permit will allow for approximately 20 port-a-johns and a few tables for drinks. The permitted time for the event is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We very much apologize for the late notice, however, due to factors beyond our control, we feel it prudent to accommodate this request. We would be grateful if you would assist us in getting this word out to as many in the community as is possible.
