Councilmember Tommy Wells & DDOT will Co-Host a Public Meeting about Performance Based Parking on H St., NE on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Sherwood Recreation Center located at 640 10th St. NE from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
In March, DDOT is planning to implement a parking program on H Street NE, from 3rd Street to 15th Street. The program has two main goals: 1) to improve the availability of customer parking on H Street by adjusting parking meter rates, and 2) to reduce parking spillover into adjacent residential streets through increased restrictions for non-residents.
