DOH Announces H1N1 Vaccine Clinic Location for Thursday December 3

The DC Department of Health (DOH) announced the location of the next H1N1 vaccine clinic will be the King Greenleaf Recreation Center in the District.  There will also be vaccine clinics at the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center on Saturday December 5 as previously announced.  The vaccine will continue to be given out at no cost. Additional clinic dates and locations for the upcoming weeks will be announced in the near future.

The H1N1 vaccine clinics will continue to serve the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention priority groups:

- Pregnant women
- Youth ages 6 months to 24 years
- Adults with underlying health conditions such as asthma and diabetes ages 25-64 years
- Caregivers of children under 6 months
- Healthcare workers

Thursday, December 3
5 – 9 pm
 
In addition to the District-wide H1N1 vaccine clinics, residents can also receive the vaccine by visiting their primary care provider if the provider has registered to distribute the vaccine.  District residents should call their healthcare providers to find out if they are providing the vaccine to their patients. 

DOH will continue to update District residents as new information becomes available regarding H1N1 and the vaccine. Residents can find regular updates and additional information on H1N1 at http://flu.dc.gov in addition to calling the H1N1 hotline though Mayor’s Citywide Call Center at 311.
