 Car Free Day

Can you take on the challenge?  Make a pledge to be completely car free on DC Car Free Day. You can walk, skate, bike, scoot, take the bus or train, or telecommute.  If you simply can’t avoid the car, pledge to be “car-lite” by carpooling or vanpooling.  Join Mayor Fenty and the City Council and pledge to navigate your day without a car on Tuesday, September 18th. Or, go even further and pledge to be car free for a whole week or month, and celebrate World Car Free Day on September 22nd.  Don’t forget to invite your friends and coworkers to join you!
